This is a major milestone for our club and will create exciting opportunities for player development, talent identification, coach education and academy exposure, while supporting the continued growth and development of Laytown United FC.

We are especially proud to be the first and only club in our immediate area to establish this official partnership with Drogheda United FC.

We remain proudly Laytown United, with our own identity and independence, while creating a stronger pathway and new opportunities for our players and coaches. This partnership represents an exciting new chapter for our club and one that we are incredibly proud to begin.

We would also like to place on record our sincere thanks and appreciation to John Donohue, Academy Director, and Rian Wogan, CEO of Drogheda United FC, for all the hard work, time and commitment that has gone on behind the scenes to bring this partnership to fruition.

From Laytown United FC, we would like to acknowledge and thank Lee Conroy, Simon Graham, Dave Richmond and Siobhan Tunstead for their work and contribution in helping make this partnership a reality.
